For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4: 12
The Bible is no longer counted among the bestselling books in America for the simple reason that year after year it is THE bestselling book in America, by far. The publishers simply stopped listing it.
There are many reasons for the Bible’s popularity. Perhaps the most important reason is that the Bible speaks truth to us all in a world filled with deceptions and lies. You can build your life on the teachings found in the Bible. More than that the Bible brings us to the One Who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. His name is Jesus.
At LOC we believe and teach the eternal truths of God in the Bible, and not the silly platitudes of people. For example, the Bible teaches us that we are all sinners in need of a Savior. Our Savior, Jesus, teaches us that those who have been forgiven much love much. We have been forgiven much. We are learning to love much more.

1 Timothy 2: 5-6
John 3: 16-17

Genesis 2: 18-25
Matthew 19: 4-6
Mark 10: 2-9
We affirm that God created us male and female, and those two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. We believe that it is God's will and intention that human sexual express and fulfillment take place only within the boundaries of marriage between one man and one woman. We believe that the term "marriage" has only one meaning: the uniting of one biological man and one biological woman in a single, exclusive untion, as delineated in Scripture.
We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect and value all human life.
